Hi. Do bristelnose usually have some white spots. I think mine did for ages and never seemed to get sick. Thoughts?

ich dots are smaller and "3d" plecos usually have spots

Yes bristlenose have white spots as part of their colouration.

The white spot parasite sticks out from the body a bit. There's one spot on the male that might be something but the rest are just colouration.

Thanks I'm planning to take the male out and put him in a quarantine tank. He only has white sting poop for a week now. Any recommendations on how to treat him

There's no point moving fish out if it's sick because the disease is in the tank and everything in the tank has already been exposed to it.

White poop may also mean pregnancy becuee all the nutrients in the food go to the babies
