Anyone have these cool little thing? I've been eyeing them at the store where I work. What do they need? How big of a living space? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Tiff :)

My friends had them... not exactly nature boys I may add... but generally they were deemed kind of boring and stinky and boring..

But, without doing any research... I think a 10g would be fine (of course bigger is always better and certianly hight means nothing for HC.

hmm alternatively you could go to yahoo and do a search and bing

... goes on and on...

one thing that would be cool is watching them pick out their new homes...

I got a bag of assorted shells for 10$ at a craft store just recently... oo oo fun...

alternatively you could send crimson or some other FL person a check for gass money and have them send you a bag hehe

Well, I put it here cause it doesn't have anything to do with fish. They don't go in an aquarium.

Ya know...I DID do a yahoo search and came up with the same sites as you did Adrinal. I was asking for personal experience. Im not stupid ya know!?

There are hermits that you keep in the aquarium check out LiveAquaria.com and look at Inverts.

sounds like someones a bit cranky  lol...

If you want personal experience, I used to own hermit crabs about 5 years ago, they are very interesting creatures but boring nonetheless. I kept mine in a 10 gal tank with beachsand and a shell with water in it. warning: they do sometimes attack eachother (atleast mine did) so it is good to get mostly same sized crabs. they will also eat the others if one dies. to me it didnt smell too bad, mostly like the ocean. I cant remember what I fed them but im sure you could find that out easily.
