Hello...
My name is Amy, and I'm 17 years of age...
I have been into keeping Betta Splendens for over four years, and bred my first pair when I was 14.
I always make time for my fish when I can...observing them...and constantly reading up on them.
I always strive to learn new things...

Anyway...I'm always here if you would like to ask me a question, or if you would like some advice...
(I'm a bit of a nerd when it comes to these things, haha)

Welcome to our forum AngryPuppy. I am not the regular MOD for this section but I am not unfamiliar with betta splendens. How has the fall/winter weather been so far for you so far?
I have also bred betta splendens as a young person but have accumulated a few years since then and am now 64 years old. You are very welcome here and if you have actually focused on Betta splendens your advice will be very welcome. We have lots of members who keep those fish but many of them have done little besides set up a tank and place a fish or two in it. Bettas are a decorative fish so they tend to attract lots of new people with very little fish keeping experiences. What that means is that you will find tons of posts where someone has a new fish or has decided to name their fish. You will find only a small percentage where people are having problems or want help with something like breeding or genetics or even feeding. That is a place where a person who has focused on bettas can be a great help. Don't hesitate to step in where your experiences are relevant.
