I Need Advice Asap

There is a pet shop down the road that is closing up and everything is clearenced out. I just bought a 29g complete setup sith light, hood, tank, and filter. I am wanting to make it a saltwater setup. The pet store is selling live rock for $4 a pound. Is there any way to safely start the setup, water only to the proper salinity (sp), and have live rock in it Thursday? Thursday is the last day they are open. I am trying to do this with a small budget. I have read in another post that it is ok to put the live rock in it before the sand. Thanks in advanced for advice and suggestions.

BTW, I am not sure if the supplied filter (Whisper 30) is enough. I will eventually get a protein skimmer.

I also meant to ask, if I can get rock in there Thursday, how much should I get. All I plan on putting in there is 2 clowns, a few damsels, and maybe 2 tangs.

you can put live rock in anytime and in fact most people put it in first and use it to cycle the tank.
You can put as much rock in the tank as you like. Put in enough to make it look nice.
