I was at my LPS yesterday and I over heard a lady and one of the store clerks talking, and she asked if she could 'put the pink and blue tetras with her paradise fish" and so I went over, and asked her to show me what fish they were, she showed me the blueberry and strawberry tetras, and I had to explain to her about the process of dying. After all she didn't buy the fish and she bought some mollies ^_^

I also got a new Caribbean Hermit Crab, I named it Thais, and its claw is atleast 2" long :D

Just thought I'd share with everyone.

 Good job. I feel so bad for fish that are dyed. It just isn't right. Why can't people just accept how beautiful the fish is naturally? :-(

Good job. I fell terrible when I go into Petsmart and the people say that bala sharks ould be ok in a 30 gallon.

There usually dyed with needles, or there dipped in a corrosive liquid which dissolves the slime coating and then they hand paint them. then they dip them in another liquid which bothers the fishes skin and makes the slime coating grow back.

So sad. Good on you,Darkside. That lady probably would have never known.
