How to keep goldfish healthy?

Most lf the time i found goldfish died within some months. They got any infection or any disease. What is the right way to keep goldfish healthy.
I have few following points
-Water changing
-Food and feeding time
Or any other essential things you know?

Goldfish need a pH above 7.0 and a GH above 100ppm.

Do regular water changes, gravel cleaning and filter maintenance.

Feed lots of plant matter.

Make sure they have lots of aeration/ surface turbulence to provide oxygen in hot weather.

If they get sick, do a huge water change and add salt.
