i read some people said feed them blood worm but when i buy a blood worm in pet store i must buy very large quantity of them and eventually all of them will die . is there other way to feed them?

last time i try frozen blood worm and my aquarium became dirty..:(

place your blood worm in a freezer and it will became frozen blood worm is that the way how you make a frozen blood worm or not?

ohh ok can i made a frozen blood worm at home? or can any body teach me how to made one ^^

basically you just put them in the freezer which i dont see why the need to when you can get frozen bloodworms straight from the store

because frozen blood worm is more expensive than the live one

don't take this the wrong way but honestly if you are worried about £2.50 on a tray of Bloodworm, maybe look at different fish that you can afford to feed properly? The frozen stuff is far easier, cleaner and generally safer than live stuff. You can buy trays of Bloodworm, Tubifex, Brine Shrimp, Cockles, Muscles the lot, it will work out cheaper in the long run and far less time consuming to cut up, freeze and maintain than just buying it pre done from the shop.

good one, i couldnt have said it better. lol.

The bloodworms and other frozen food come in plastic trays, you push them out like you would a tablet from a tray of tablets. If your tank became dirty before, it was probably because you used too much, or there was a lot of bloody water in with the fresh bloodworms. I feed my ghost (along with the other fish in the aquarium) blood worms and brine shrimp on alternate days. I feed the other fish micropellets and flakes for breakfast. The ghost doesn't come out at breakfast time, but he might end up getting some dry food when he's cleaning up the tank floor in the evening. You really need to have some frozen food if you have a Black Ghost, unless your prepared to use live food every day, which would end up costing a lot more.

anyway i just buy a live blood worm and he its it but i saw 1 blood worm coming out of his gills OMG pls help is that normal?

In my experience one of the easiest fish to feed because they are so greedy and eager to eat which is half the battle1

frozen bloodworms are a must but I feed frozen prawns and spirulina enriched brine shrimp as well plus he eats flake as there other normal fish in the tank. They are great fish and always seem to thrive
