How To Cut Down Flow From An Externall Filter?

i have a fluval 105 external filter in my 60l tank. The current created is too high for the fish i am adding in (Siamese fighting fish) how can i reduce the flow of the filter

You can adjust the flow rate on your fluval by lifting the paddle slightly until desired flow is achieved. This is located above the clamp where the hoses attach to the moter head. Long term use in restriced flow will cause additional wear and tear to the moter though so bear that in mind.

you could always consider using a spray bar instead on the outflow to ditribute the flow across the whole tank.

You could also get a largish piece of coarse filter media, dig out a recess and fix it over the filter OUTLET pipe with an elastic band.
