ello Fishy peeps.

Just want to know what my next stocking idea could be... Tank is all happy and looking good... Its a 90ltr tank with a fluval u2 filter and gravel. no live plants just cool artificial ones. I have 5 Zebra danios and a leopard danio and 2 platies. The zebra danios were added 3 weeks ago and the filter has coped with the increased bioload. tested today and ammonia and nitrite are back down to 0...PH is around 8 - 8.5. I am just trying to get ideas for my next fish was thinking a pleco of some sort. just dont know...

if the water has tested zeros for ammonia and nitrite for two weeks after the last fish additions it should be ok to add more fish. Generally you should not add more than 50% of the current bioload in order that the bacteria has time to grow and cope with the increase in waste, without there being a major spike in ammonia/nitrite.

If you are thinking of a plec, they are big waste producers, but considering your current stock it should be ok to add one (small one for a 90l tank) without any problem.
