How many tiger barbs could I have in my 29 gallon tank. I have 5 corys in there right now and I was wanting to do a tiger barb only tank. Thanks.
Probably around 10 or so but I'll warn you that you can't for the most part add any other fish except for some other semi-aggressive. They are quite aggressive for their size, and persistent fin nippers.
Defiantly don't but the corries in with the chiclids that would be dinner timeIf the cories have to be rehomed I guess I would move them. I have a 10 gallon tank I could put them in. I also have a 20 gallon but that has my firemouth cichlids in there which are quiet mean at times.
If you know its a clean earthworm, without pesticides you could try it but your best to stick with frozen bloodworms. I'm not entirely sure they are big enough to take on a good sized earthworm.Thats what I thought, the corys seem to be trying to start a fight with the barbs always following them around and whatnot. Pretty funny. Would tiger barbs eat earthworms?
