How many fish - Newbie

I have had my tank for 5 months and I have 36 fish, mostly tetra's but I have 2 kissing Gourami's, 1 Pleco, 2 Angel Fish which I believe also grow quite large. Not sure of gallon size, but tank is 4ft by 2ft by 1ft. I have a quite a few plants as well. Internal Filter is definately adequate as it was bought for me by an experienced tropical fish owner.

Any help would be appreciated.

I've no problems with anything in your tank.

It's 44UKgal, 54USgal, 203liters

The angels are fine they'll not out grow the tank, the tetras are fine in almost any tank, the gouramis don't out grow the tank either. the only one's the plec, but the fish will not complain until it's nearly fully grown.

The kissing gouramis may not grow out of your tank (they get almost a foot long), but will eventually kill your angels. The "kissing" behavior is a form of aggression and they go after any fish which presents a large enough body to be thus attacked.
