Hi guys,

After unsuccessfully keeping a Betta with Corydoras I have moved the Betta back in his own 10g tank and now the Corydoras are in a 2ft tank on there own! Only 4 of them!

I have been looking for tank mates for them. My pH is 7.8 - 8. I live in East Anglia, UK so the water is quite hard here. I was just wondering if I can stock my tank with some Dwarf Gouramis.

Aqua Advisor claims that 2 would be fine. A Male and a Female I'm guessing? Would they eat normal tropical fish food, i.e. TetraMin and do they get along with Panda Corydoras?

What temperature would you guys suggest which won't compromise the life span of either fish.

25C ?

Thanks for your help.

I dunno about the technical questions but if you can keep them I'd try and get 2 females and one male and also up your Pandas to 6. I think you should have room, you have the same size tank as me :)

You will be fine with a male and female i have a pair in with my Discus and they don't bother with each other at all

Ok well we have two new Dwarf Gourami's. A Male (Chum) and a Female (Flo). So that means the tank now has 4 Corys and 2 Gouramis, Aqua Advisor states that it is 56% stocked so more Corydoras could be added at a later date.

Will post some photos later,

Just wondering, as I only bought 1 male and 1 female, if the male does turn out to be very aggressive towards the female is it ok to add another female to the tank without stressing them out? Or is it better to get one sooner than later?
