How Long For Sponge Filter To Be Cyckled

Hi all,


I bought a heui hung 200 litres sponge filter, i got it this morning and have placed it into my 90 litre tank, its gonna be using in a 70 litre once its cycled to breed angels, i am running it on a small air pump i dont know the air out put though, but its a reall small air pump,

the 90 litre has 3 angels, 3 gouramis , 3 neons, and 1 5 inch plec !

how would i know when this is mature enough for the 70 litre ?

a weeks time should be sufficient.

Yeah, it really shouldn't take that long for the bacteria to build up, and a few angels shouldn't produce that much waste either. 1 week sounds like a good statistic.
