How Long Do Severums Take To Grow?

ok so i bought a 2 inch yellow severum for £4 2 days ago ( bargain i think ) i was just wondering how long do they usaully take to grow? i have a 260 litre tank and my parrot fish has grown over an inch in 3 months?

My Belem Severum has grown around 4 inches in 6 months, but he has bulked out considerably.

it depends on water parameters, feeding quantities and times per day, stress levels, water change routine etc etc etc.

i have excellent water atm and i feed my fish on bloodworms and pellets. also a dab of flakes and high protein stuff. i dont overfeed them even though i feed bloodwork every 3 days and pellets and the rest 2 or 3 times daily.

feeding 2-3 times per day will give it a good boost along with top water parameters but just be carefull to spread feeding times throughout the day to give the fish chance to digest the food before adding more. also dont feed lots at a time if feeding like you do.

thanks. i feed them at 8am when i wake up between 5 and 6 when i finish work. and at 10 pm too.
