How Long Do Corys Live

Hi two questions on corys, first how long do they live for? and at what age do they start to spawn?. Ive got 6 sterbai cory about 1 and 1/4 inch dont know how old they are, ive had them 2 months, also ive got 6 baby albino cory they are about 4 months old, and quite small but very lively, just got them yesterday, they have settled in really well. A few web pages I spotted claim that under ideal conditions, Corydoras can live 10-15 years and beyond. (I was surprised!)

Ive heard the highest is up to 25 years
but I know for a fact they can live to 18 years,knew someone who had them that long

I had some live 8 years without trying. I ope the next batch I get go longer!

My next door neighbour told me he got some cory when he setup his first tank. That was 11 years ago and he still has the original 6 cory.
