These are probably basic questions and I am still new...
Worried if my fish has eggs or just heavy?
Does it hurt the fish to not breed if they have eggs?

This would be:
A "glo" Danio (Lollypop)
Not a glo girl but it (she ) was alone in that tank forever

And/or

A White Cloud Mountain Minnow

If danios, barbs, white clouds, etc don't breed (shed eggs), they can become egg bound and will never be able to breed after that. Danios are particularly prone to this when kept in tropical tanks. These fish normally live in cooler water (16-20C) and breed when the temperature is above 20C. If they are kept in a tropical tank at 24-26C, they produce eggs and have to shed them regularly.

Other fish like rainbowfish will shed eggs every day or two even if there are no males to breed with. This prevents them from becoming egg bound.
