I have had 3 Leopard Corys (Cory Julii) now for almost 2 weeks now
I have yet to see them eat anything, even when shrimp pellets are right in front of their faces
They are not very active, and when I shut the light off in the evening and just have the room light on, they do get a little more active
My question is, how long can they live without food?

They will be eating, just when the lights are off and when you can't see. If they aren't however, fish can live up to a week without food.

Hopefully your corys will settle down soon.

Most healthy fish can live a month without food (not suggesting trying this, of course). This is especially true for bottomfeeders who spend less energy.

Also, cories (as well as loaches and others) are likely to make an exception for frozen bloodworms and feed in front of you... shrimp pellets are just not sufficiently appealing. Best time to feed is in the evening when the fish is naturally more active; you also may try feeding with tank lights off.

I will try the frozen blood worms in the evening and hopefully they will eat

Thanks for the response

Still no sign of the Corys eating...food drops in front of them not interested

Very worried....My Corys look sad and I do not know what to do for them
