I have literally LOST two guppies!!!!!

I have checked everywhere in the tank and they are nowhere to be seen, I had 5 which im pretty sure I saw all of this morning and now i only have 3, I have moved all ornaments etc to check for them but they are nowhere to be seen...

Surely they havent been eaten???????????

that is possible. Maybe it jumped out of the tank and flopped off somewhere?

Do you have an internal filter? I lost a tetra once who got pulled through the tiny gap and died in there.

I have takent the filters out of the filter box to check and there is nothing in there.... Plus the gaps are far too small for them to get sucked through....

And with regards to them jumping out.... I have a lid on top of the tank so that isnt possible.... I am completely confused. If the dennisonis had eaten them today surely there would be SOME remains?!?!?!?

oh dear.... found the remains of one of them in one of the plants...Im amazed how decomposed it was considering it was alive and well this morning.... It doesnt explain what happened to the other one but i think its safe to assume it died and has decomposed already...

I have three guppies left... am going to have to try and find the culprit although i have my money on the dennisonis as they havent been eating a lot lately...
