How Do I Trim These Types Of Plants?

I have two plants that have literally outgrown the tank, you hold them up out the top of the tank and its twice the length of the tank haha

Please let me know how to trim these, sorry if the pics aren't that great.

just cut to required length down near the roots just above a leaf node, and put the cut end back in the gravel it will soon root again.

At least you know your plants are thriving haha! Like kirk said, just cut above the leaf of your desired length
