Hi guys,
I just got two new corydoras (same day as this account was made this was in dedication to them) and they cuddle up to each other.
I saw a website that said "easy, males have a pointed pelvic fin and females have a curved fin" is this true ?
Thanks guys, jazzai :D

Sorry title should be " how do I tell if my corydoras are male or female?

If you look at them, the female will be generally bigger, mainly in width. The male will be fairly slim and a bit smaller. I'm not sure about the fin thing, I have always relied on size.

Moved to the corydoras section, where you might get better answers, OP :good:

Thank you for the move, fluttermoth. :)

I don't know what kind of corys you have, but they all are similar in this respect. Here's a picture of a fully mature wild caught C. aeneus. In it you can see that her fin, fully extended, is rather large. The male will always have a smaller one.
