I have recently bought a yo-yo loach and it has since become quite bloated.
I thought it might be dropsy but its not got any other symptoms other than being bloated. Might it be pregnant? (pic attached)

I also have real problems keeping Cory's which are supposed to be quite hardy fish. For some reason they last about a week then die.
What am I doing wrong?

What size tank have you got and what are the water parameters?

also, the picture is not attatched

With the bloated fish try a shelled pea to see if that helps, what do you feed your fish, also cory need excellent water condition, can you post water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph, what size tank, how many fish and which type.

did you keep the corys in groups? they're incredibly social.
mine cuddled when they slept.
I've heard that with pregnant fish, you can see the fry's eyeballs as small black specks in the preggers fish's abdomen. not sure about that.
when my dalmation molly was preggers she didn't have any black spots, or they were within her normal black spots. ;)
check the anal fins of the fish. male or female?

try the pea trick as Wilder recommended.
if the fish has dropsy the scales will protrude like a pinecone. a preggers fish just looks mighty fat. ;)

This is fabulous. scroll down to check out dropsy and bookmark it for the future.
