I'm not sure what their proper name is but that's what we've always known them as.
They always seem to come back to our house every year. The nest fell down two years ago but they built it back again last year. They seem to have bred twice this year though as I know one lot have already been flying about. I found an egg snashed at the gable end of the house with an unhatched bird. This has happened a few years and I'm wondering if that egg just didn't hatch or is that a new lot?
Would also be good to know that if I did manage to save one if god forbid it happens again, would I just need to feed it worms or anything else?
