Honey Gouramis

Monday i put four Honey Gouramis in my tank, and everyday they have been rubbing and jerking movements in the water. All test are ok ammonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrate 5.0 Ph 7.2

I have had my little torch out and looked at gills and body and no signs of spots worms, fluff, cotton, fungus etc. So can't put a ilness to it apart from jerking and rubbing, it's only the honeys that are doing this the platys and pearls up to now are ok. Help

I see no one as answered your question but it sounds like the same thing i had no signs but the flicking and jerking movements. I see your water looking good so it can't be the water, so it most be a parasite from the shop you got the fish from? this is how i got rid of mine and now the fish are healthy. Do a good gravel vac and take out 80 % of the water and fill with fresh add the amount of salt one table spoon to every gallon then add a parasite med i used Esha 2000 a lot of people use this as it's one of the best turn up your temperature to 85 f and make sure you have plenty of air going in to your aquarium. and take out your carbon if you use it? follow the instructions.

Good luck and keep a eye on your fish each day and and look for any other signs if any, white spots or gold and rusting powder on your fish. Thought someone might of give you some information, like OldMan47 he looks like he knows a few things? but guest not on meds or treatments? or these who knows about Gouramis, well saying that we can't expected people to know everything
