Update: There is a noticeable improvement in behavior today! She is no longer lethargic and is swimming around the quarantine tank. The quarantine tank is next to the main tank and the male and female are hanging out on either side of the glass. The swim bladder issues seem to be resolved as well.

I wanted to give an update for anyone who may be watching.

I kept the female in isolation for about 3 weeks (I think.) With daily water changes.

Her behavior had returned to her normal, spunky self, so put the female back in the main tank on Friday afternoon. Her and the male had been visiting on opposite sides of the glass for about a week. The minute she was back in, he colored right up with deep orange and black marks.

On Sunday he built a bubble nest. They wasted no time getting to business. On Monday morning there were eggs. This story is in a new thread.
