I have two mountain minnows in with one black moor and one flutter fish. One of the mountain minnows has totally subdued the other one by patrolling the tank and chasing it back under a plant in the corner of the tank. It is keeping it like a prisoner and only letting it out when I feed them. Why is it doing this? I feel really sorry for the other minnow as it spends most of the day hiding in the plant.

I don't know if they are a pair - how can you tell. One is fatter than the other - or should I say side on one looks very streamline and the other one has a definite bulge. It is the streamline one that is patrolling.

I would get about 4 more to spread out the aggression as they are a shoaling fish. When you do rearrange the tank so the bossy one is displaced.
