hill climb

well today was the annual liberation day hill climb in Jersey. if anyone is interested in motorsport here is a link to the pics i took they are not great but you can see the cars and the bikes quite clearlly, unfortunatly my camera eat up my batteries before i could take pics of the quad bikes, the karts and the race cars. basically the course in on a hill in Jersey called Bouley Bay there is plenty or turns and a nice straight were cars and bikes can get up to 90mph. i think the fastest thing to get up the hill was a bike that did it in 39 seconds which is damn fast. on average the vehicules get up in around 50 to 60 seconds, we had a few crashe outs and my friends car decided to leek water and oil when he was waiting for the green light. a few of my friends were racing. one was driving a tuned saxo, a tuned Renault 5 turbo, a bike, 250cc geared go kart, vaxhall chevvette rally car
and a stripped out sierra 4x4. other cars running where jaguar e types, mk 1,2,3 escorts, RS2000, RS1600, sierra cosworth rally.

my fav car of the day think it is a lotus 340R cant quite remember though (bad pic aswell).

i completly forgot about that mini, it was awesome had holes drilled out of the tailgate to lose even more weight.

cant wait till i buy a hillclimb car and start racing it

Great pictures. Picture 9 is a cortina? with BMW stripes? WTF?

We have those in the states too.
