:good: hi all ,i am new to the fish world .my girlfriend has had fish for years she introduced me to it .she had a couple plecos and a a cyclid(aka killer) , we now have 4 small tanks one nursing a jack dempsey , a 5 gal. with a cyclid ,and 2 ten gal. one tank has a pleco 3 irredesent sharks , albino red fin shark , a bristle nose pleco and a guppie .in the second tank we have 3 bela sharks, 2 common plecos ,and a blue lobster (we had an albino red fin that blue ate). i realize i need a bigger tank and have a 50 planned and will go to a 120 in the future.what a neat hobby :D

Hi! It is spelt cichlid, not cyclid. You defeniatly need a bigger tank. And I wouldnt keep a guppy with a shark because it will get killed. Oh, and welcome to the forum!

As long as we're having a spelling lesson...it's spelled "spelled" not "spelt" and "definitely" not "defeniatly". Just thought I'd point that out haha.
