Hello, I am new to the forum and the hobby. Whenever I find a new interest, the first thing I do is find a friendly forum and join it.
I probably did the typical thing, bought a small 10 Gal tank and set it up, cycled it according to instructions and now have what appear to be 6 happy swordtails. I didn't want to mix things up too much to start with. My plan is to give the small tank a whirl for a while and if I find that I am enjoying this (so far I am) I will buy a larger community tank and make the 10 Gal a holding tank for pregnancy and fry etc. I figure this way I am not out anything by upgrading so quickly. I am going to have lots of questions in the next while about species and equipment so I thought I would find a forum and introduce myself.
