Hi, I'm New...

Hello everyone I've just joined and thought I'd say hi

I've had my tank for about a year now. It's a 30litre and has the following fish in it...

• 3 Rummy nosed Tetras
  2 Peppered Corydoras
  1 Corydora
  1 Bristle nosed catfish
  2 Dwarf cockatoo cichlids
  2 Kribensis cichlids
  1 Ram
  2 Cherry Barbs (1 is gold!)

I've also recently just bought two Betta fish, one male and one female. They were both in one vase, but I've had to seperate them as the male kept pestering the female and felt sorry for her They are now in a vase each and sit next to one another.

I'll get pictures of them all soon and post them up on here. My boyfriend has 3 tanks of his own with mainly African and South Americian cichlids, also a smaller tank with other different fish. I'll get pictures of those soon and post them up as well

hi welcome,,,so youve realised you cant keep male bettas with anything especially not females,,,
male bettas are evil<hehe>there is a sub section here for bettas and they will tell you everything you need to know

Hi-i might be wrong but the gold cherry barb might be a female...the red ones are the males....Post us a pic as i have some-i'd like to see them!!!

tank is way overstocked<specially with cichlids sorry

i would lose these for a start your tanks only 7gallons
obviously unless your upgrading soon otherwise there will be big issues for real estate

I think it is a female yes, as the red one seems to like chasing it alot!

I know I shouldn't have that many fish in it, but they seem happy as they are! I will upgrade to a bigger tank when I have more room.

Yeah, if it's 30 litres you're going to want to upgrade to 190 liters.
