Hey, I Got A RopeFish....Anyone Ever Heard Of It?!

Hey Everyone I am Scarlett! I Just Bought Last Night a RopeFish and it is

like the coolest fish on the planet. I was wondering if anyone else owned one or

knew anything about them. Hopefull soon I can post a picture of him. His

stomache is an orangy color and he is blemish-free. He is quite a beauty. I hope

someone can relate or know anthing about him Thanks -Scarlett!

What size tank are you keeping him in? Mine thrives in a 55. Is he eating well?

Do a google search under its scientific name Erpetoichthys calabaricus.

Another great and nutritious food are earthworms.

Mine was an impulse too

The average full size when kept in a proper tank (55g or more) is only 18" as opposed to the natural 3 feet

I Just Got Him Last Night On Impulse Yes I know But I Could Not Rezist! lol Last Night I Did Not seem him eat but I fed him right after introducing him to my tank and I think he was a lil nervous, we'll see tonight. He is in a 20 Gallon right now but Soon I will be moving him to a larger tank. I Will be feeding them shrimp pellets untill I buy something else, Thanks for your info!
