He's Hungry!

Hello,

I am very confused about how much food to give my fish Jefferson. I've been feeding him the Hikarri betta pellets. I heard to be careful not to over feed bettas, so I give him like 2 pellets in the morning and 2 before I leave work. But it never seems enough and he goes crazy everytime I feed him. Any suggestions?

thats an O.K. diet for the Betta. But I have 3 pellets in the afternoon and 3 in the evening.

bettas also love bloodworm, maybe slip them in his diet somewhere

I have a couple of oto's in with Draven, and he seemed to like their sprout I put in the other day!!

Someone suggested sinking catfish pellets too, I tried him on some yesterday (crushed a little) and he seemed to enjoy them too.

bettas are notorious beggars when it comes to food. i feed mine about the same amount as you (with a bloodworm treat thrown in every now and then). you're doing fine, just don't let him fool you into giving him more!
