you shold isolate the betta and treat him with fin rot medicene

i am sorry to say he died today from some sort of serious fungus and i was treating him double doses of myaxin

I am sorry to hear about your betta sometimes things like this happen mabey the next one you get will be healthy what was you useing on him melafix or maracyn I would just like to know for my peace of mind I dont like that melafix I know it killed a betta that I was taking care of for a neighbor.

the double doses of medicine may have killed him too. all medicines are slight toxic to the fish. in heavy doses they can be fatal. I treated my betta with maracyn for a body fungus and he a a happy healthy swimmer again

no the treatment was called myxazin from water life and i do not think the medication killed him because i have 10 tetras in the same tank and i was double dosing because after a couple of days it was getting progresivly worse it was spreading like wild fire from when i went to skool and when i got back i could tell the difference.

make sure when u pick ur fish from the pet shop its healthy!!!!!
