Help!

So my cichlid fish that I got about a month ago, he's not responsive and is at bottom tank. Changed water tested it as well and it's perfect. What is going on?!!!

What size is the tank?
Any tank mates?
What type of cichlid? (If you don't know, a picture or a description could come in handy)
What did you test for in the water? (Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate?)
What was the exact test numbers?
What temperature is the tank?

Just to reiterate what Lyra said - we'll need a bit more information first.
 
When you say the water is perfect what are the readings. Also what type of cichlid is it? Some need soft water and some need hard water - it depends on which it is and what type of water you have.
 
If you can give us readings for pH, Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate and also an idea of your water hardness and we can get you the help you need
 
Also, what type of test kit are you using?
