Firstly, she doesn't look eggy Secondly you should have put her in a chimney for at least 48hrs.

How big is the spawning tank?
What temperature is the water?
What depth is the water?

Agreed. Get them apart. She isn't ready and just putting them together isn't the way to go. Just from your picture I can also tell you that spawning on gravel isn't the best idea either. Also, do you have a plan for potentially hundreds of VT offspring?
