"Why Utah?!"
This is driving me insane. I'm seriously going out of my mind. I was down as my LFS just now and the young girl that works there showed me these little yellow fish. She SAID they were Gold Angel Rams. But I haven't found a single picture or care sheet on such cichlids. I've been looking for over an hour now. They were very cute, and actually looked like tiny, one inch yellow parrot fish sort of. Solid yellow, no spots or stripes or markings. She said they were dwarf cichlids too, so if I can get me a pair of those, I want them bad, but first I need to find out what they are first. Help, help, help!!

Does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about or what these are??

Does it look like either of these in shape or color?

Balloon Rams - in the golden colour form. A similar genetic deformaty as in baloon mollies.
YUK! ( IMO)

modernhamlet, it is more like the top one in color, and the bottom one in shape, sort of. It was rounder, with a pointier mouth.

diademhill, you know, that might be it. I might also be having a hard time identifying it because they were probably juvies and don't quite look like they will when adults yet.

I think I might just go take photos of them or something and post them here!

That's good to hear. I just wanted to eliminate lelupi's from contention.

Sounds like a gold (and possibly balloon) ram to me...

Keep the water really clean. Those things have a reputation for extreme genetic weakness.

diademhill, yeah that could be it. ^^ Sorry, I had no idea they were New World!

modernhamlet, do they really? My my...
