Help With Female Fighter

Guys, noticed that one of my female fighters had a sort of white deposit around its mouth and she wasnt swimming all that good, just wondering if any of you could help with what it is, I dont have any pics as I am in work now all my water tests are spot on. I have took her out and seperated her from the main tank and will see how she gets on.

Could you tell us a bit more about her tank first please? How many litres, what are her usual tank mates, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate readings, how long has the tank been running, does the spot look like at all fluffy etc. That way we'll be able to get a better idea of what is going on with her

she is in a 190ltr tank with neons, plec another female fighter 2x bala sharks and a mix of sword tails
amonia 0
nitrite 0
nitrate 20
the tank has been running for 18 months with weekly 10% water changers.
its not a spot its like a crust that has formed around her mouth, my son found her nose down at the bottom of the tank still alive but not very active at all. I have had to come to work on a night shift but before I did I quarentined her in a seperate tank to see how she gets on but my gut feeling is that she might not make it through the night. She has been in my tank for the best part of 12 months.

Well as thought she passed away in the night. I'm still no wiser as to why. Just hope what ever it was isn't in my tank and effects other fish. I done a water change today and will do a few more over the next few days just to be on the safe side

Really sorry to hear that, and I'm sorry your post was missed before advice could be given. I can't think of anything else to suggest other than what you are already planning to do with extra water changes, and just keep an eye on the remaining fish. Fingers crossed that they will all stay clear of what ever this was.
