Hai all,

I'm new to fish keeping and I'm very eager to do it! I love to see them while.swimming...

A week before I bought 4 orandas(2 recap, 2 orange). these 2 was inflected by argulus! I am beginner so I dnt know abt the disease. so I asked my seller and I was nt got the answer so I searched all over the intelnet and found about the disease and I removed these from.my fishes! but my fishes are always swimming at the top of the tank. I dono why! yesterday I got 2 black oranda(now 6 fishes). Today I saw that still argulus is with my orandas. I cleaned the tank once again(3rd time in this week) and cleaned the tank gravel using acid and I put some salt in the tank. but still my fish is always at the top of the tank!

need immediate help please...
I have to keep my fishes safe and healthy and happy...

capacity: 57 litres

I have boyu 1000 filter with my tank!

please help!

Is your tank cycled? It sounds like an uncycled tank and with fish of those waste output that's pretty bad.

First of all you should go to our cycling section on the forum.

Next is that your tank is too small for goldfish.

They require at least a 50 gallon to fully grow and to freely move.

Next is that you're overstocked with too many fish in a tiny tank

If you can take the fish back to the store and start a fishless cycle, you can make sure this sort of thing doesn't happen again in your tank. You need to pick up a liquid test kit (most of us here use API freshwater master test kit) which tests for ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. Then you need to return or rehome your goldies, and pick up some pure ammonia (with no surfactants), then promptly stop listening to your LFS. They are more interested in making a sale than giving you good advice (in general).
