Help! Something Wrong With My Neon Tetras!

OMG! I have neon tetras and two of them seem suddenly to have no lips! there is just a permanant open hole and these two have separated from the school which is unusual for my tetras to do! What is wrong with my babies???!!!

Does it look like they have any white fluffy stuff around their mouth? Or does it look red?


What size tank do you have all of them in?
Have you seen any agression with your neons?

No white stuff at all it is kind of redish but its really odd as if his lips have disappered leaving an open mouth and he don't look too good!


What size tank do you have all of them in?

I have the Fluval 1200 x 400 Tropical tank


Have you seen any agression with your neons?

No, I havent but it is quite hard to see them coz they tend to stay at the back of the tank and are quite timmid when you go near the tank. Do you think somebody might be a bully in my tank?

I would try to isolate the two fish you see have mouths missing. As you don't want them to get infected anymore or infect your tank if it is contagious.
