can some 1 help no 1 seems 2 know what this is in the shops iv been 2 thay said try fish fourums

the pic is clear enough 2 see the white stuff growing is this good? bad?

what do i need 2 treat it

yer i done a post b4 but no 1 can seem 2 help me im a bit worried as its spreading in small clumps like this

Must be some sort of seaweed. Doesn't look too bad. Can't you just pull it off as it grows?

yer i can scrape it off but it grows back some 1 said it stings if u touch it?

maybe theres a fish i could buy to eat it maybe?

iv got crabs and snails but thay wont touch it

is it slimy like algea?

does it have a feathery appearance?

It's just growing on the rocks, huh? Not from something in the rocks?

Can you get better pictures?

I'm new to sw, but I'm very curious myself and wouldn't mind reading a little to find out what it might be.

I did a little searching on the internet and found a couple of pics that have some kind of white seaweed. Check this pic out. Sure does look similar to the white algea in the lower left corner.

i knockd off some of the tentics and its seemd 2 have died off mmmm strange i done that a week or so ago and its not
come back so hopfully all is good

theres new coral growing so i think alls ok fish fine etc
