I planted nearly 1 dozen of shoots of this plant yesterday. Fixed it affirmly in the sand substrate however they where floating by today afternoon, so i have tied them to small rocks with help of cotton thread now i am sure they wont be floating again. NOw I also got these from the 'Haat' they said it wont require co2 setup. I have 7 tigers in the tank. Tank size is 20 us gallons.
I also found when i replanted them that the plants lost a LOT of their leaves which are now stuck in my filter inlet. Ahh so much cleaning.
Alas please identify the plant and provide me the necessary details regarding proper upkeep of these plants. They look amazing i wish things get better plzz.
Also How much lightning do they require + any need for special fertilizers ??

Ceratophyllum demersum aka Foxtail maybe?.... i really am pants at ID'ing lol

Could it be a Limnophila, possibly L. aquatica?

They might go a bit 'leggy' (ie, lose their lower leaves) with not enough light, but you can always cut the tops off and replant them :good:
