Please could anyone help diagnose what is wrong with my cory. His gill is inflamed on one side only. He's not lethargic and is eating normally. Water parameters are good and I have done a water change for good measure. Is there anything you can suggest?

have you looked into gill deseases? There's gill flukes and there's also some kind of worm that can attack the gills I think. I've not had any experience with either so I don't know much more than that.

We really need more info on your tank before we can help. how big is your tank, how long has it been set up, what fish are in it, and what are the actual numbers from the tests?
Gill flukes/worms are actually very rare (I've never had them in any of my tanks over the last 30 years). It's far more likely to be a water quality problem.

That's probably why I know nothing about them. We rarely see posts about either on here (thankfully)

90 litre tank that has been set up for around 20 months with the corys having been in there for over 18 months. We have 2 rams 1 gold ram, 5 danios, 3 corys and a very small clown plec. All have been together quite happily and healthy for around 6 months. Did add two yoyo loaches 3 months ago for 2 weeks but they were eating the scales off the corys which is why he is missing his barbels.
Did have a look at google but couldn't narrow it down. Just wanted a little advice. I have included a couple of photos to make things a little easier.

the photo's are too small to make anything out. Do you have a photobucket account? You can add better photo's that way.
What kind of substrate do you have? Is it a smooth pebble or a rough-ish gravel?

It could be injury, as your water is fine. Rams sometimes attack cories, and three rams in a 90l isn't leaving them much room for territories.
Or heater burn? Lots of catfish like to hide under or around the heater.

oh, and the Voogle works great.. I brought some fish with ich into my tank and it cleared it up.. really good product..
edit: as it stands this post is all messed up.. I was trying to add an additional thought aboot the Voogle and Bam.. this is what happened..
