I have lost recently 2 fish in my 70 litre tank, a molly and a tetra and both were sunk upside down. I thought this was due to the temperature being to high so I turned it down a notch, now this morning my angel is lying on the bottom of my tank breathing fast and upside down, its ot looking good, I have found there average temperature so the tanks that, but I fear its too late, any suggestions?
Oh yes bye the way, this fish has only been in the tank for a week, i'm not using any chemicals there are 7 other fish, 2 guppies 2 head and tails a neon 2 mollies..
The Angel died i'm sorry to say, no I haven't tested my water, but the temperature went below 26 degrees I think that killed it Poor thing, my damn heater, thanks anyways
Sorry to hear about your troubles and losses . You really should check your water parameters though, because often a fish having trouble breathing could be due to high ammonia or nitrites. Is your tank new? All of these things matter - I don't know if you are cycling or not, but even if not, test your water - that's the first thing anyone will ask when you have a sick fish.
