Hi,
just looked in the 10gal and on of my recent additions a guppy has a fluffy eye
that I think could be a fungal infection...looks like something out a horror movie. The other fish seem fine except 1 other is resting on bottom??
I want to know if this will spread to other fish,is it treatable or is that it for those girls? levels of h2o are good. It is a 10 gallon with 9 guppies, 1 apple snail & 3 ghost shrimp.. I just took another peek and know both are resting on bottom?? HELP!!! :fish: :fish:

if the eye is swollen, it is most likely popeye.
if the eye is cloudy and appears to have a white fungus growth on it, it may be a bacterial infection and/or poor water quality.

can you give us the water parameters? [pH, nitrite, nitrate, ammonia]
if fish are resting on the bottom they are:
*weak from the beginnings of an illness
*suffering from poor water aeration
*sleeping ;)
Check for other general signs of illness, and investigate the very helpful pinned topics in the forum. I have most of them bookmarked. Are the fish breathing heavily? Are their fins clamped to the sides of their body?
