i have a juwel rekord 96 i have cycled it and have started stoking it.

I have in the tank 1x pleco, 2x gourami there 3 spot one one is blue and black and the other is yellow these are about 3", i also have 3xmollies, 2x black widow and 2x white tipped tetra.

Can someone give me some advise about what else i could have in my tank as i like medium sized fish not to keen on tetras and mollies i like the gouramis fish of that size. So could someone advise me on what else i could have in my tank and how many please. many regards.

Well the tetra's need to be in a bigger group, might appreciate them more as tetra look great in large groups.

i was going to get 4 more and have a school of 6 but i would prefer some larger fish.
I like clown loaches i would also upgrade my tank size in a year or 2 as i get the hang of it but what could i keep in my current tank. as it looks empty

No clown loaches they will get stressed in that size tank and won't even make it to a bigger tank.

What about some corys, as you are almost near the stocking limit.

i got told i could have 23" of fish in my tank. its 3ft long. i currently have 12" of fish so could have another 10" i was thinking of some jellybean parrots as these only get to 4" maximum or a betta also i was thinking of putting the mollies and tetras into a smaller tank i have to free up a bit of space for me.

Well, OK a a guideline... You do realise this only applies to slim bodied fish of average waste, aggressiveness and activity levels, and refers only to adult size? Seems not.

i currently have 12" of fish
No, you currently have... 28"+, not including the pleco, and that was being conservative with the sizes...

i was thinking of some jellybean parrots as these only get to 4" maximum
Nope, I don't do hybrids, but they either get to 6"+ and are really aggressive or to 12" ish and are not as aggro. Which, I don't know.

or a betta
Which isn't compatable with most of the fish.

also i was thinking of putting the mollies and tetras into a smaller tank i have to free up a bit of space for me.
And anything smaller will be too small, especially for the mollies.

I'm actually more interested in exactly how big a whatever-whatsit 96 is, and what kind of pleco are we dealing with here?

I think it about a 20gal.

i get it to 24 gallons.
