Help Identifying

Hey everyone, i was at a larger pet store the other day and they had some big tanks with real big fish in them, a couple i was really interested in. I did not get the name of the pair i was looking at and cant find it online. They looked like some species of large cichlid, they where white and black, and had some really long teeth. I think the white and black where striped but i cant totally remember, i would know it if i seen it. If anyone could help me figure out what this fish was that would be really helpful. thanks!

well i shouldnt say really big haha. big for what i have ever seen in a pet shop. the two of them were about a foot long i think. after a little more digging though, i think they may have been jaguar cichlids, but im not positive on that.
