Hello everyone

We have a 125 litre tropical tank that is new and has just finished cycling today.  For the last week we have had a green algae growth that first started on the bogwood and is now climbing the walls from the floor.  Light coloured quartz substrate and tank is 35 days old from brand new.  Temperature is 23°C.  Ammonia level 0 ppm.  Nitrite 0 ppm.  Nitrate 0-5 ppm.  2 x 28 watt Juwel HiLIte Day lights on 8 hours a day.  We are unsure whether it is beard or thread algae, or the dreaded cyanobacteria.  When disturbed it will flow in the current.

Photos are at http://imgur.com/a/xVUNy for identification.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thank you.

Picture 1 looks like thread algae - just been through that episode myself.
Picture 2 - I can't really see anything.
Picture 3, on the glass isn't thread algae, but just the normal stuff you get off with an algae magnet.
