Help Identifying A New Fish.

My friend recently gave me one of his fish which he says is a ram, I'm not sure which type of ram or sex ( if that's possible to tell! )
Can anyone help with identifying this fish please!
Oh and it's currently sharing the tank with 3 Green Severums, will this be ok.
They seem fine for now.

It is indeed a Ram, a Bolivian ram. In my personal experience they are probably the hardiest of the Rams i.e German Blue, Golden or Balloon rams and they are a lovely addition to a community tank. The only bother you may have with them is there can sometimes be a bit of aggression between 2 males but apart from that they are generally very peaceful

I think it would be better for you to have this moved to the New World section as these and the Sevs would be better advised on in that section and I have no experience of the Sevs to advise you on
