Help identify sex of this electric blue ram.

This is my last purchase for this aquarium. I am now at my bioload Max that I'm comfortable with. My new electric blue ram hopefully this is a female. I know they're very difficult to tell in this color variant but I did my best.

you won't be able to tell anything while it's in a bag.
if it gets a pink stomach it's female.

The German blue is the only one that gets pink bellies. The gold, electric blue, Frost and black variance of the fish do not.

Helpful tips sexing a female ram of the other color variants of the German blue ram

1. Rounder abdomens
2. Second and third dorsal fins are elevated
3. Anal fin is wider
4. Pectoral fins are rounder less pointy.

If there are other blue rams (of any variety, the species is the same) you will probably know fairly soon what gender this one is, if there is a male already present anyway. Keep an eye on things, as rams must select their mates and do not always accept one another.
