can i get leaves from my garden and put them in my tank for my triops/triop babys

if yes what do i do to the leaves to make them safe[/b] :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

not sure about tripods, but Crayfish are partial to oak leafs. need a darn good wash though.

They can soak up pollution if you live next to a busy road or in a town/city, which is nothing to worry about with crayfish or fish, but can kill a <1mm newly hatched baby triops.
Why do you want to add oak leaves, is it to create infusoria for the triops? If so see this thread :good:.

lol the oak leafs were for the Cray, it was just a suggestion. i have never kept tripods, just wondered if it would work. sorry.
