Hey peeps I'm going to start aquascaping my 70l aquarium with driftwood and real plants but I'm not going to use co2 or a fertiliser substrate I am going to have anubias and java fern and moss to the wood but wood like to no the easiest and most hardy plants that can be planted into just regular aquarium sand I'll add fertiliser in liquid form my lights are led many thanks

Hornwort, water sprite, anacharis, aponogetons, vallisneria, swords, cryptocorynes are known to be hardy. The swords and crypts would appreciate root tabs though.

Alot of plants that are suitable for low light tanks won't need CO2 so I'd just check the labels and go from there - I'd expand on the root tabs thing tho and make it "all plants will appreciate being fed" - It doesn't matter much where you put the food.

I generally go with what you said you already have.  Sometimes I also have various hygrophilia and am currently trying amazon sword (so far so good for that one).

I've just ordered 2 Amazon swords. I dose liquid co2 and ei ferts. I also have Java fern, Nubia's Nana and a couple of crypts. The crypts seem to lose a lot of leaves but then start sprouting new ones at the top.
